Modern Newborn Photography
We are now offering modern newborn photography in the London Ontario area. We recommend scheduling your newborn session during the last trimester of your pregnancy. Typically we will schedule a session for roughly one week after your scheduled due-date however we can adjust if necessary if your baby decides to come a little early or late. We know sometimes babies have a mind of their own when it comes to their arrival. The ideal time for a newborn session is in the first 10 days….my preference is for days 6-10.
I will come to your home to photograph your newborn so you will not need to take your new baby out in public and you can be in a comfortable environment. We use a combination of props we bring with us and items from around your home. Newborn sessions last anywhere from 1-3 hours depending on the personality of your little one…we always allow plenty of time for the session so we don’t have to rush or leave before we get that great sleeping baby shot. Some babies are a little harder to get to sleep but we have plenty of patience.
Our modern newborn portrait sessions incorporate your home and your personality into your portraits. Break out of the basic black and white and add some color to your newborn photography. In some of our recent sessions we’ve been able to incorporate the dad’s love of music, or even the home decor into the sessions by photographing in a music room, master bedroom, baby’s nursery, and family room.

Baby photography is more interesting now that it’s ever been in history. What’s the first thing you want to do when you have an amazing photograph of your Baby? If you said “Share it,” that’s what we would do too. More people are sharing images of their baby on social media and other online sites today than ever before. If you’re going to share images, we want them to be amazing and show just how amazingly cute your little one is forever.
We don’t want someone to ever say that your baby look cuter in person. While all babies are cuter in person because you get to experience their expressions, sounds, and smells, we believe that the same can be captured through photography.

London Child Photography
Our specialty is photographing individual children – especially preschool aged children. I love chasing them around, playing games with them, and capturing their natural expressions.
A typical session lasts roughly an hour. We find most kids run out of steam around the one hour mark and may become over stimulated or just over it. However, a one hour session gives plenty of time for an outfit change to increase the variety in your portraits and to show different sides of your child’s personality. If you have a little one that starts out a little shy, the hour gives us enough time to get to know each other and still get some great natural expressions.
